Jul 16, 2007 Draft. Medium copper color with off-white head. Aroma of heavy hops, some tropical fruit and peppery notes. Tastes hoppy, caramel malty, with mid-palate citric, pepper, lemony, and tangerine notes. Smooth finish. This one is a solid APA.

May 6, 2007 A very nice pale ale, copper in color with a small but lacing off-white head, nose full of hops but a good touch of caramel & malt, hoppy flavors, very bitter, maybe a little unbalanced with all the hops, just not enough malt to back it up, bitter & dry finish with a touch of grapefruit, not bad but has the potential to be a lot better

Nov 20, 2008 On draft and on cask at the brewpub. Light amber color topped by a fluffy white head. Smells of earthy, grassy hops, faint citrus. Taste is very similar with a touch of caramel. Somewhat on the dry side for a pale ale but that is how I like my hoppy beers. I think this was the best one that I tried during my visit to the Barrel Works.

Jun 9, 2007 Decent run of the mill pale ale- nothing too great, but no flaws either. Deep golden, almost coppery, hazy and a modest head retention. typical citrus hops, some orange hints, lemon, and a clean crisp finish.

Jul 25, 2007 Tap @ UBW. Poured a clear copper color with an off-white head. Light malt aroma that is some-what dry. Not much hop in the aroma. The flavor has a good amount of hops. Mostly earthy with some citrus. Moderately bitter and drt finish. Light-medium body.

Jul 6, 2007 This is a pretty strong pale ale. Full flavor with a nice bold hop finish. One of the better offerings from UBW.

Nov 23, 2009 On tap. Pours a clear and light amber with a average-sized white head. Aroma is grassy/floral hops and some matly notes. Flavor is much the same - the hops are slightly bitter. Very nice drinking. Tasty. This was probably my favorite of the sampler.

Jul 15, 2007 This was a good pale ale. It won’t blow you away with the hop flavor, and not real complex, but refreshing and crisp.
