Mildly dry and pasty texture, light roast tasted. Seems uncomplicated at first, with some more maple, char and roast taste, quite a simple flavor profile but there’s nothing wrong with that when it’s done well. Overall a bit dried than standard stout but not to the level of Irish Stout. Good stuff. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a nice deep black with mild carbonation, and a lsting deep tan head. Aroma is loaded with roasted malts, good amount of chocolate, hints of tar, and a bit of smoke as well. Nice roast and acrid burnt malt flavor, chocolate and nutty notes, with a nice floral hop character at the end to balance out the black malt acidity. Solid stout.
