Tap at the brewpup. My favorite beer of the sampler and I ordered a full one. Aroma of brown sugar, chocolate and fruit. Flavor was pretty similar with some wine like elements, some decent amount of hops and a slight sweetness.

Tap @ UBW. Poured a lightly hazed deep copper color. The aroma has notes of dark fruit and light raisins. The aroma is semi-sweet. The flavor is malty with a hint of chocolate. The finish is hoppy, very warming and semi-dry. Mild bitterness with a light-medium body.

Draft @ Union Barrel Works, pre-BCTC beerventure, shared by mj. Thanks, Mike! Pours a hazy amber-brown color; light tan head with decent lacing. Candy and brown sugar in the aroma; pleasant hop bitterness on the perimeter. Medium-to-full, chewy mouthfeel: viscous candy sugar and citrus hops; slightly resiny; good density and pleasant viscosity in the mouth. Medium, sugary and malty finish.

Draft. Deep brownish copper pour with 1-finger tan head. Aroma of roasty caramel/Munich malt, brown sugar, figs. Tastes caramel malty, with some brown sugar notes, figgy fruit, and some finishing hop hints. Stays fruity and malty throuhgout, and those two components balance each other well.

Deep brown color, this had a nice thick mouthfeel. Flavor and aroma were full of toasted and sweet malts, with just enough bite.

Nice Doppelbock, has a nice thick silky body, fairly strong malt taste mixed in with a bit of fruit. tad of a bittersweet aftertaste.

Sampled on draught at Penn Microbrewers Fest. Has a decent malty nose with neutral fruits and a light hops hit. More malty and to style than the Penndemonium I had earlier. Dark amber in color, slight haze, with thin off-white head. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. This one starts sweet with toasted malty character, caramel and biscuit. Has a soft sweet finish with some carbonic tang and a mild bitterness to it. Sweet malty after with just a bit of chalkiness, most likely to the sediment.

This bock got a bit too fruity, and even had hitns of plasticy phenols. Good deep dark ruby brownish red color, god head. The faults are trying to be covered up by a nice toasted and deep munich malt sweetness and nuttiness. Light chocolate and nut hints in the flavors, deep topasted malts, some thick sweetness. Ok mouthfeel- pretty smooth.
