Commercial Description: Cask; Regular. The ingredients are all English with the malt coming from Tuckers Maltings in Newton Abbot and the hops from Kent. A blend of three varieties of hops has been selected: Goldings, Brambling Cross and Fuggles.
Doughy caramel with earthy, floral hops in the nose. Clear dark copper coloured body is topped by a decent white, frothy head that lasts well and laces. Caramel and toffee are dominant in the sweet flavour with floral hops and moderate bitterness. Somewhat watery in texture perhaps due to low carbonation. Sampled on cask as Cherub Best Bitter at the Chrub in Dartmouth.
