BitchesBrew (698), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA May 14, 2008 [draught at the brewpub] Pours a golden yellow color, with a good degree of haze. Grainy, sweet malt character with a balanced bitterness. Finishes quite dry, which seems to increase the apparent bitterness. Clean. Very good.
Jukkabro (2349), Tampere, Finland Jul 5, 2008 Dark yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Little white head. Handmade yeasty-flowery aroma with some with some interesting herbal spiciness. Medium bodied. Flavor is also excellent with same handmade touch dominating, flowers and yeast. Good unfiltered touch here. Aftertaste has some butter with this Danish flowery-yeast and hops. Excellent. DruncanVeasey (1612), Burbage, Leicestershire, England Jun 13, 2008 Visually a dead ringer for Paulaner Brau Weisse- lush orange haze, beautifully naturtrub. Lacy as you like. Massive barrelly, cedary hop aroma heavy with wood and resins. The most brazenly piney, varnishy, hop-accented hell of the trip. Exactly like licking a freshly polished table. Or a tree. Octo loves it, a touch too Pledge for me. Still, a living, woodsy, herbally hopped hell. Sehr gud. acrdz (4248), Pennsylvania, USA Jun 7, 2008 Draft at Unionsbrau in Munich. Hazy orange and dark yellow colored body. Nose of vanilla pudding yeast, similar taste. Strange but good. Refreshing and soft, medium body, some creamed banana and banana bread and some orage and lemon citrus sourness as well. Yeast basically playing a large part in flavoring this beer. Good overall but not stellar. MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany May 4, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. OK fruity aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Small stable white head. Spicy hop flavour, hint of tea. Slightly thin mouthfeel. The finish is nicely bready with OK spiciness.
