The Upland Amber Ale has a malty almond/chocolate taste laced with a lush spicy hop flavor. Creamy body combined with robust maltiness makes this a warming beer indeed.

Draft at tap room. Pours a medium dark amber with an off white head. Sweet malty aroma. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice hefty caramelly malt backbone with some chocolate bar nuttiness and maple. Somewhat sweet with a tame hopping rate. Not bad for an amber, especially if you like malty beers.

Bottle thanks to 17thfloor from multi-pack. Clear red amber/brown with small to medium white head. Aroma is yeasty, caramel, light fruit, mostly citrus but somewhat tropical, a biscuit and chalk as well. Flavor is somewhat citrusy with sprite, biscuit, toast, sweet, slight hop bitterness. Light body with medium carbonation. Almost like a honey brown with a light citrus hop character.

12oz bottle. Pours a very nice clear glowing dark reddish amber a medium creamy frothy off-white head. Strong toasty caramel malt aroma, lightly fruity. Flavor follows aroma, sweet and toasty, but quite clean, hops are second to the rich malts but balanced beautifully, lightly grassy, touch of honey, citrus, pine. Great barley aftertaste. This is a very nice and quite tasty amber, which is saying a lot, surprisingly interesting despite its simplicity. Medium bodied, clean feeling, fluffy carbonation, just a hint sticky.

Bottle courtesy of tjthresh (thanks!) Pours a hazy copper with just a little more than a film of bubbles on the surface. Aromas are driven by caramel and toffee with a little bit of apple juice and pepper. Flavor is about the same. The malt dominates, but there is a little bit of a fruit and spice finish to it that is just pleasant. I liked this quite a bit for a plain old amber.

Rusty amber pour with white head. Aroma of cereal malt, some fruit, light hops. Flavor is fruity and hoppy with a light bitterness in the finish. Solid albeit pedestrian amber.

Bottle received from StFun. Poured a pumpkin orange with a nice 1/2 inch head. Aroma of malt, pepper and a little sweetness. Flavor was spicy, malty and finished a little citrusy. A decent amber.

Pours a amber color with medium off white head. Aroma is nutty, caramel malt with light fruity hop aroma. Taste is caramel malt, slight toasted malt and mild fruit. Light bodied and not anything worth shouting about, but not bad.
