Commercial Description:
The Upland Amber Ale has a malty almond/chocolate taste laced with a lush spicy hop flavor. Creamy body combined with robust maltiness makes this a warming beer indeed.

From a gift sixer from BBB63. Bottled in Aug 05. Poured with a big fizzy white head, and some vissable carbonation rushing to the top. Copper and red hues. Some lace. Sugary sweet, bready robust aroma. Very good malty aroma. Very drinkable. Cara-toff-olate with a spicy hop bitterness. Nice fuller body. Thanks Mike.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a small rocky white head that diminished quickly. Medium sweet malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Full complex malty nutty flavor with a medium finish.

Bottle. Pours a nice amber, with an inch thick white head (due more to my sloppy pour) Aroma is very sweet with a bit of chocolate. Excellent taste, especially for an amber. Very good mouthfeel. This is one of the better beers to come out of Upland.

From the tap room: Deep amber and cloudy (they don’t filter anything). Nice frothy tides clinging to the margin. Deep clover honey in the aroma. The flavor is rich and pleasing. Apple Crisp notes and a chalky "brown ale" touch. Hops are floral and well balanced with the mals. Very good.

Orange/brown/red, clear bodied, just a ring of a head, but really good lacing. Malty sweet nose with some hops. Body is smooth, lime, caramel, chocolate and maybe a little toffee too. Not bad. Thanks Mike!
