Commercial Description:
Creamy chocolate flavors combine with a lightly roasted finish and superb body to balance this traditional brown porter. A fragrant malt/hop aroma and herbaceous hop flavor complete this highly quaffable ale.

Smells rather bland with some cramel malt to it. Pours deep brown with a small off-white head. Taste is watery with caramel and chocolate notes. Aftertaste is the best part with a caramel coating to the mouth.

Bottle. Cola and malt aroma. Dark black-brown color with ample head. Sweet coffee, smoke and malt flavor with a mild hops finish. On the weak side palate-wise. Would really love this beer if it had a bit stronger flavor.

Fruity coffee aroma with bitter chocolate. Flat, deep red pour. Lots of bitter chocolate in the flavor, a little cappucino, balanced by some herbal hops. Lingering coffee syrup flavor. Not too bad. Thanks to TAR.

The aroma consists of the following fragrances: chocolate, oak, oatmeal, and coffee. A dark brown color with a gigantic head. Gigantic head is putting it lightly this beer has so much carbonation that only the amount held in the neck of the bottle bubbled up such much that it looked like a sponge had been stuffed in the glass. This beer enters the mouth with a smooth light chocolate coffee taste. The coffee taste increases after swallowing and lingers for a while.

Draft at brewpub. Pours a jet black with a small fading head. Thin body. Aroma of a burnt chocolate coffee bean. Light carbonation and a smooth subtle finish.

Draft. No outstanding characteristics here. Aroma of roasted malts and a hint of smoke. Flavor, too, of roasted malts, slight hints of coffee and chocolate, with a smoky aftertaste. Thin to medium body.

Way too thin and watery for a good porter. Flavors were roasted malt; toffee and milk chocolate, with some sugar and roasted nuttiness. All sounds better than it was.
