No aftertaste that I noticed. Can’t really speak to aroma cause I can’t smell very well. Still trying to find out where to get it locally in Cincinnati. Would be great draft too. LOL. This was a great drinking beer. I enjoyed the taste and color, however, I was not happy with the aftertaste. I could not stop sensing the taste of chewing tobacco. heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Mark shared this one, but I am not sure I should say thanks. I love porters, but this brings shame to the style. Bad Elmer’s is certainly a good name, Bad Elmer’s Glue, maybe. The body was black with a light sand colored head. The aroma has glazed donuts with some peaches. There are also some almonds with a strong chemical background. The taste has some sweet, nasty canned peaches. There are also some peanuts. Wow, what was going on with this light, strangely flavored brew? beerbill (1984), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 6, 2008 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with BBB63. Pours just about black with a moderate tan head that faded to a film by mid-glass and left partial lacing. Light pleasant aroma of roasted malt and coffee. The flavor is lightly roasted malt, very thin chocolate, and wet cardboard. Light-medium bodied. If I was going to use one word to sum up this beer, I think it would be timid. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Sampled from 12-oz bottle pours a near opaque dark brown brew with a fast dissolving light tan head that leaves behind a fine film and tan ring. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted black malt, a touch of roasted nuts, and brown sugar, Taste is medium to full bodied, very light carbonation, smooth, slightly sweet with a dark roasted malt and chocolate flavor. Finish has a slight nutty dry aftertaste with flavors of chocolate and dry roasted malt. There is more flowery hop flavor and hardly no bitterness. Dogbrick (2907), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 24, 2007 This beer is a mostly clear dark brown color with a medium thin and creamy beige head that diminishes steadily. Spotty lacing. Aroma of earthy malt and touches of chocolate and nuts. Medium, clean body with malt, nut and pine flavors. The finish is short and nutty with a burnt malt aftertaste. All in all this is a pretty standard Porter. jcwattsrugger (5582), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
