| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Pours a transparent dark mahogany with a large, over-carbonated, well-lacing tan head. Aroma is best summarized as burnt chocolate chip cookies. Body starts foamy and lightly dark caramely sweet with a lot of burnt roasty notes throughout. FInishes a little thinner with some lingering black malt, cookie dough, and peppery, spicy hops. This recipe needs a little less of the burnt flavor. jcwattsrugger (5424), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
