Commercial Description:
In the spring of 2006, I brewed 300 gallons of top-fermented beer using wild yeast to create a Belgian-style Lambic. We conditioned the beer in oak casks and then initiated a secondary fermentation in the casks using whole fruit from Huber's Orchard in Starlight, Indiana. You should experience a tart, almost sour taste balanced by the aromatic and richly flavorful addition of whole blueberries - perfect to share with friends, and a platter of good cheese and fresh fruit. - Caleb Staton, Head Brewer

Thanks to JohnC for sharing this at the 3rd Woodshop tasting. Nice color, aroma is fruity, taste is as tart and sour funk but not overwhelming. Blueberry character is detectable body is very light as it should be. Well done for an American interpretation.

6th Rating from 3rd Annual Woodshop tasting in Temple City, CA. 3/1/08. One hell of a day put on by Cquiroga, thanks for a killer day Chris. Also spent the day there with bikesanbeer, my girlfriend Cyn, wetherel, JohnC, DenverLogan, dirty_martini, jasparg, DrBil, IPAFiend, awaisanen and many others, this was one crazy day. 750ml bottle brought by JohnC. Pours pruple with no head. Nose is huge with so much blueberry its hard to really describe. Taste is sweet and blueberry, damn, its a bit hot in the taste but nice overall.

Courtesy of BBB63. Mostly clear red body with some suspended chunks and a small white head with a pink tint. Tart nose with cheese, horse blanket, smoke and a touch of nail polish remover. Moderately tart and dry flavor with berry yogurt, cheese and red grapefruit. The malt is dull, flimsy and stale. Medium body is thin with moderate carbonation.

Bottle: The aroma is sweet blueberries with some light dusty tartness and brett. It pours a transparent orangish-red with a small pinkish film for a head. The flavor starts with a watery blueberry sweetness that turns to moderate tart blueberry in the finish. Light bodied with lively carbonation. My least favorite of the four.

Shared at Madness with the Moose. Poured a red-brown color with a small off-white head. The aroma is great and funky. Notes of leather and horse. Some tart fruitness as well. the flavor was tart and lightly acidic. Notes of fruit, berry skins tannins and some funk on the finish. Light to medium bodied.

Sampled at "An evening with Pantanap #2", wow kan just throwing out these awesome beers. Dirty red color with no head. Aroma is sweet funk with a little tart, though nice berry. Flavor is more black cherry than blueberry, big tart, dry, sour/tart, grape, yeasty funk. Medium bodied and acidic. This is very, very nice and I’m glad an American brewery is doing such accurate wild beers.
