Commercial Description:
In the spring of 2006, I brewed 300 gallons of top-fermented beer using wild yeast to create a Belgian-style Lambic. We conditioned the beer in oak casks and then initiated a secondary fermentation in the casks using whole fruit from Huber's Orchard in Starlight, Indiana. You should experience a tart, almost sour taste balanced by the aromatic and richly flavorful addition of whole blueberries - perfect to share with friends, and a platter of good cheese and fresh fruit. - Caleb Staton, Head Brewer

Pours a nice blueish color, some carbonation, not much of a head, not much sticky lacing either. The nose is malty with scents of raspberry/cherry, not much blueberry at all. The taste is malty, soury, with some raspberry/cheery, again not much of a blueberry taste. Medium body. Drinkable, dissappointed with this brew.

750 shared by Eric at his festivus bash. Pours a cloudy, but bright red/brown mix with a tiny white head. The aroma was nice, lots of sour cherries, oak, light sourness. The taste was nice, light fruit, again I thought it was closer to sour cherries than blueberry, light sourness, and then it just falls off. The flavor really drops off into a watery and clean finish. A very thin body. Easy to drink, but also not that flavorful and very light in general.

Pours a reddish/purplish color with an off white, pinkish head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty. Taste is slightly sour, bad blueberry flavor. Did not like this one, was totally surprised when I saw how high it was rated.

Bottle shared by GMCC2181. A murky maroon-purple-ish pour but with a somewhat weak head/effervescence. Aroma was nice blueberries, some funk, some citrus. The flavor was slightly watery, lacking carbonation, nice blueberry flavor, done well, floral, some honey, funkiness also present. A pretty easy drinker as far as lambics go, an enjoyable experience. Thanks, Gabe, for sharing!

Bottle from stfun, thanks josh. Dark pink in color, not much head. A little blueberries on the nose along with a sour note. Taste is a nice touch of blueberries with a sour/tartness that is not over powering. Well balanced. Not much carbonation. Even though lambics are not my favorite I enjoyed this.

Poured from a corked 750ml bottle and served in a tulip. This beer poured a hazy, dark red with a thin head of pinkish/tan foam that quickly faded into a thin film. A small amount of slippery lacing was left behind. The aroma consisted of oak, sugary blueberries, and a hint of funkiness. The flavor was made up of muted blueberry notes, wet wood, and a very light brettiness. Finished mostly dry, but was not very acidic or puckering. The mouthfeel was light-bodied and minimally carbonated. Almost still. Goes down like uncarbonated fruit juice. After trying their strawberry lambic, this was a bit of a letdown.

Courtesy hopscotch. Pours a dark copper amber red, with a minimal light bubbly head, if anything. Smells of pretty sweets fruits, a touch of some blueberry, a little musky, but not very tart. The flavor was mostly fruits as well, but lacking some serious carbonaton. Really took the lambic-ness right out of it for me. I like them sharp and biting. I want my cheeks to pucker up. Just some more fruit juice form these guys. Doesnt taste bad, just not what I was expecting. Ive had 2 Upland lambics and both have been FTL if you ask me.
