Alround rating: Its purely bretty, oak tannins and lightly tart, cant find much fruit, very very yeasty which makes it very unclean. Doesnt really taste like a lambic i know. Its just too unclean and yeasty and nowhere like sour enough. fiulijn (7513), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 8, 2009 Blind tasting at Papsø’s Muddy orange color, without head. Nice aroma, sour, citrusy, fruity (raspberries). Lean mouthfeel, sour, citrusy, with some final astringency, and a light nutty flavor too. Maybe too dry, without the cellar/Brett flavor. Not bad, but there is something that is not completely right here. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 5, 2009 My least favorite of the Upland lambics. Smells of muted cherries and funky. Tastes like cough medicine with some sour hints and a dry acidic finish. hughie (3086), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2009 6%,Pours a pink-peachy colour, with a foaming head that settles into a Caesar head. Medium or even a tad less mouthfeel. It has that aroma a la Cantillon. Cherries are there all right, and sourness is malted away. A good drinking ale, nice summer drinker but neither outstanding as far as a kriek goes, better than average for a fruit beer. Active carbonation that aids digestion through burping. Sourness builds up, men drink up. Being traditional lambic cherry, it may be that the strawberry was superior and more unique. Nuffield (2747), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
