deyholla (506), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Oct 26, 2009 On tap at the Bloomington Beer Festival. Poured golden amber with a slightly off-white head. Aroma was very hoppy with an earthy pine aroma. Flavor was full of hops as well giving a flavor similar to the aroma. travita (1851), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 12, 2009 Bottle thanks to thirdeye11. The look is golden copper in color with an off white head. The smell is grains, hops, light, and not that good. The taste is light bitterness, pine, and hops. DWestrick (234), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Oct 9, 2009 bottle. easily the worst IPA I’ve ever had - wouldnt ever pour out of the bottle without complete foam - lacked character. I feel cheated JPDIPSO (4863), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Oct 7, 2009 Orange to copper in color with some fine particles adrift. Taller, foamy light beige head. LIght pine and citrus aromas atop a bit of caramelized sugar and bit of floral hops. Toasted grain and malt in the front. Bits of butterscotch mingle. Floor malt and earthy hops on the middle. Just a touch of grapefruit as well. Has some English qualities with an American kick. Finish is lightly acidic with a white grapefruit zip that carries a long way. Barrios (852), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Oct 5, 2009 Pours a pale amber body with a pillow-like beige head. Grassy, floral, malt aromas. Floral hops, malt sweetness, candied flavors. Little bitter, resinous, smooth body brew. Mellow. NobleSquirrel (1094), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 5, 2009 Bottle from Wise Guys in Schererville. Pretty standar looking IPA, hazy orange, white head. Nose is a bit malty, though hops do shine through nicely. On taste, it starts out overly malty, minimal bitterness then diacetyl. Which has no place in an IPA. Ever. It killed it for me, but I’ll re-rate. DonKi11uminati (43), , Indiana, USA Oct 4, 2009 This is an OK IPA. Sort of weak aroma, but the flavor has some nice pine, hops, bitterness, and a little citrus. However, they all combine into an overall flavor that is sort of pedestrian and unremarkable. Not enough malt for me, and the flavor isn’t particularly balanced. The better IPA’s have superior balance and more complexity. This one isn’t bad, but I probably won’t seek it out again. angrypirate06 (678), Texas, USA Sep 28, 2009 Bottle thanks to thirdeye11. Hazy orange pour. Soapy white head. Aroma was malty, little else. Flavor was spicy hops, pine, and some malts.
