hazy amber, thin beige head, stringy lace, sweet floral hop aroma with sweet carmel and a touch of butterscotch, nice robust hop flavor on a balancing sweet carmel malt base that blends into some sweet butterscotch character, long pleasant bitter finish, a fine drinking IPA, mostly an American style IA with a touch of the buttery English character like from a Ringwood brewery (which works for me)

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Slightly hazy amber with off-white head. Floral nose with notes of grapefruit, pine and caramel. The flavor comes off much more sweet than bitter. Medium body. Very lively carbonation. Nice beer, but too malty and overly carbonated for my preferences in an IPA. screigh (264), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 20, 2007 Poured a hazy amber color. Looks kind of like an amber wheat if that even exists. HUGE white head. Way over carbonated! Head died down eventually and left some decent lacing. It smells sour and sort of like rotten meat. I bit spicey, a bit sour and some bitterness. No hop flavor at all. Either this is contaminated or one of the worst IPAs I have ever had. Terrible and at $14 per 6-pack it is out of line. jameswolfe (142), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 20, 2007 I was pretty disapointed with this. I thought their Wheat was an underrated gem. This however I wouldnt even consider an IPA. Tastes more like a good Pale Ale to me. The hops are there, but not very powerful. Good smooth finish though. Optigon (562), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
