Commercial Description:
The Upland Dragonfly IPA is a malty and hoppy brew. Note the clean malty fullness on the front of the palate with fruity citrus overtones, attributable to our special hops. Dry hopping creates a floral aroma, and our use of bittering hops lends a strong bitter taste in the back of the tongue and throat.

Poured a slightly hazed amber color with a think off-white head. Sweet aroma smelled like candy and tangerines. Malty start to the flavor. Light citrus notes are mixed in. The beer finishes with a mild dry bitterness.

Slightly hazed copper. The aroma is hoppy with a berry-like fruitiness. The flavor is malt centric up front. Mellow. Hop bitterness is a bit disappointing.

Nearly a perfect beer. Great hop character. Slight residual sweetness. Great restaurant, too!

While Upland has failed to impress, this wasn’t bad. Deep amber with a foamy white head. Some citrus hops aroma, caramel, malt, pine. Pleasant creaminess in the mouth. Refreshing citrus flavor. Good lawnmower beer.

Pours clear bown with a white head. Aroma is roasty malt with light caramel. No hops on the aroma? Body was medium with light carbonation. Flavor is of lightly roasted malt with light piney hope presence. The finish is sour with light hops. From the description this is suppose to have much more hops, but I’n not getting it. Maybe the six pack I got was old, but this has much more malt than hops. Mediocre IPA at best.

Clear coppery amber body. Thick, frothy off-white head. Some astringent grassy hops in the nose, followed by smooth caramel undertones, orange, and light stewed vegetables. Actually a decent amount of stuff in there, just don’t like the astringent flare. Flavor also has a touch of that astringency, but its not overwhelming. A decent amount of goodness to work with though. Again some orange and caramel, pretty well balanced with a dry finish. Okay IPA, easy drinking and not bad.

(another hopdog bonus brew)very nice orange body with a small creamy white head that left lacing.aroma was dominated by grapefruit hops.flavor was a mix of floral/citurs hops with a bit of earth in the after taste.yet another solid brew by way of the hopdog.

Tap at Yogi’s. Classic IPA presentation. Gold color with slight white head. Floral hop aroma dominates, but a good deal of malt present as well. Taste much the same. Very sweet and floral. I made the comment that it tasted like perfume smells. Enjoyable. Very good, but seemed a little subdued for my tastes. What was there was great, but there just wasn’t enough. Could be that I just finished pint of Bell’s Two-Hearted.
