A good beer, which will be followed by many others, to help get over the Badger loss today. jah noth (1017), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 10, 2005 Orange in color, very hazy with a thick head. Some burnt caramel in the aroma, along with floral hops. Very fruity flavor, some lemons and oranges, some grassiness, and lingering bitterness. Not too bad, but not stellar. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 16, 2005 Let me start off by saying that I sampled several beers from this brewer over the past weekend... and all of them taste the same (in a way). There’s an underlying burnt-rice flavor to all of their beers that I just can’t get past. Bottle. Floral aroma? Not really... smells malty... too malty. Flavor: yep, it’s loaded with malts and burnt rice. Oh, what a disappointment when I was trying to get a friend to try his first IPA. Ughsmash (4030), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 17, 2005 Draught @ Legends - Notre Dame. Poured a clear reddish-amber with a light off-white head. Nice lacing all the way down. Citrusy aroma, with some underlying sweetness from the malts. Crisp and citrusy (with pine notes) on the front of the palate. Light-to-medium bodied, with a little malty sweetness present. Finish was not well-balanced, and seemed to be bitter for the sake of being bitter. This was a really good brew.. until about halfway down. Tmoney99 (4745), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Medium body with well balanced finish. Medium sweet taste with floral and citrus. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA

Copper color with consistent bubbles like champange. A medium head that quickly dissapates but leaves plenty of lacing. Flavor is a little disappointing. The hops aren’t real strong which allows the malts to take over. The palate is smooth and slick. It is a very drinkable and tasty session brew that would be a good introduction to the style. frankenkitty (1902), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
