| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2009 Bottle from Bockyhorsey, my midwest hookup by way of AZ travels! The pour was full amber to copper, ok initial head and lacing. The aroma was strong floral hops, some diacetyl notes and bread. The flavor was strong floral bitter hops, some caramel, citrus, bready elements, earthy/herbal hops in the background. Glad the diacetyl didn’t come out in the flavor. A decent IPA, and many thanks to you, Mr. Bill! 17thfloor (1493), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 30, 2009 12oz bottle from 12/08 enjoyed 6/30/09. Pours a rich glowing amber with a lovely big frothy off-white sudsy foamy head that leaves great lacing. Aroma is sweet with plenty of bitter hops. Not sure what is happening here, toasty, sweet, smooth, bitter, juicy tropical fruits, buttery, such an odd combination, maybe some light infection. Medium bodied, very fluffy mouthful, not sticky. kswick (3), Evansville, Indiana, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 25, 2009 This IPA is an easy drinker, malty and apple aroma. Copper amber color with a nice white head.
Good carbonation, citrus and pine taste, very nice, slightly bitterness that fades into a subtle pine after taste.
Overall, a good summery beer.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 15, 2009 12oz Bottle. Malty and somewhat stale aroma. Copper body with off white head and some ring lacing on top of pint glass. Decent citus flavor with some malt mixed in there. Flavor was better than aroma which are usually even. Some sweet citurs on palate decent brew. natejgood (190), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2009 This is an easy to drink IPA. Not over-hopped and doesn’t dry out your mouth. Lacks a little flavor perhaps, but a solid warm weather beer. illinismitty (1799), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2009 Draft at tap room. Pours a deep copper amber with a retentive off white head. Aroma of floral hops and fruity ale esters. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This has a very solid malt backbone of caramel, maple, nuts, and perhaps a hint of tobacco- countered a nice citrus and piney hoppiness. Bitterness does not linger too long. Nice malty IPA, sort of like an East and West coast hybrid. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 15, 2009 Bottle from 17floor. Clear copper with medium to small off-white, pancake head. Aroma is heavy spruce/pine, off-dry bubblegum and caramel malt, floral, nice. Flavor is sweet caramel, biscuit, citrus, a little tropical, nuttiness, a little bready, a little resin in the finish. Medium body with active carbonation with a little chalk. I can dig it.
