| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2009 This is an easy to drink IPA. Not over-hopped and doesn’t dry out your mouth. Lacks a little flavor perhaps, but a solid warm weather beer. illinismitty (1801), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2009 Draft at tap room. Pours a deep copper amber with a retentive off white head. Aroma of floral hops and fruity ale esters. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This has a very solid malt backbone of caramel, maple, nuts, and perhaps a hint of tobacco- countered a nice citrus and piney hoppiness. Bitterness does not linger too long. Nice malty IPA, sort of like an East and West coast hybrid. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 15, 2009 Bottle from 17floor. Clear copper with medium to small off-white, pancake head. Aroma is heavy spruce/pine, off-dry bubblegum and caramel malt, floral, nice. Flavor is sweet caramel, biscuit, citrus, a little tropical, nuttiness, a little bready, a little resin in the finish. Medium body with active carbonation with a little chalk. I can dig it. j12601 (1366), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Bottle from StFun, thanks Josh. Pours a somewhat hazy ruby brown with a medium beige head. Sweet toast and caramel, and a little bit of sweet citrus hops. Body is medium with a nice malt note. Finishes with a nice bit of grapefruit bitterness. shawnm213 (1029), South Bend, Indiana, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Bottle. Poured a hazy, red-orange color with a small tan head and little lacing. The aroma was of floral hops. The beer had a light body, oily texture, soft carbonaiton, and a bitter finish. The flavor was a medium bitterness from floral hops, which are easy to taste. Overall, I liked this beer, but I liked the Pale Ale better. I just thought the Dragonfly IPA should have been more bitter than the Pale Ale, but I thought the opposite was true. Still, another good Upland beer. brewblackhole (1386), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 20, 2009 Soft hints of citrus hopping that gets even softer,some caramel malt peeking through the hops. Somewhat big body and combo of citrus and vegetal hopping,pleasant bitterness in finish,somewhat complex,but just doesn’t finish right. Decent enough. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 19, 2009 On draft at Old Chicago, so limited comments:
Appearance: a little too light of a color for an IPA; average head retention
Aroma: decent at best; too little hops; too much macro beer michelob aroma; major turn-off
Flavor: similar to nose; too many hints of MGD! dangerous stuff; not impressed
Mouthfeel: average
