Not overpowering. Good taste overall. Good criteria as a session. If we could buy it here that is... inkubus27 (251), Highland, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 8, 2008 On tap at Upland brewery. I didn’t even finish this one, it tasted nothing like an ipa to me. It seemed like they used a weizen yeast to make this one and there was very little in the way of hop aroma or flavor. BREWMUSKCLES (1083), New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2008 This one came in from eithcubes. Caramel aroma with a light citrus smell as well. Pours a dark burnt orange and very clear. Big white head with big lacing. Slight sweetness and more sweet than hop up front. Bitter metallic finish. Would make a great every day and/or session IPA. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 30, 2008 Rather decent, pours very cloudy with a nice burst of hops. Sadly, this is short-lived, however the taste does stick to you while you consume this delightful beverage. I found this to be a excellent choice, rather cheap to get and it nice to grab after a hard day’s work. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 21, 2008 Light copper to amber body with some floaters. The head is dense and a light yellowish tan. The aroma is up front grapefruit with some nice alomonds behind it. There is also some toast. The taste is bitter bread crust and grapefruit. The finish is fairly strong fresh bread dough and a little bit spicy. The mouthfeel is full and a little sticky. Nice, for people like me that like a mild and well balanced IPA. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2008 Poured from a 12oz bottle (Bottled in Dec. 07) and served in a shaker. This beer poured a chill-hazed amber with a one-finger thick head of creamy beige foam that lasted throughout the entire glass. A thick coating of lace covered the sides of the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of spicy citrus hops, grapefruit, mellon, and caramel. The flavor consisted of a nice, quick bitterness, along with some mild notes of orange, grapefruit, and caramel. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and clean with moderate carbonation. The flavor had a really nice bite, but at the same time, it seemed a bit muted. Still decent, though. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA
