Great hop character. Slight residual sweetness. Great restaurant, too! burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 28, 2004 The aroma had a strong hoppy smell which carried over to a good, sharp bitter aftertaste. The head was VERY big. I don’t usually go for IPAs, but I’d wager to say that this is the PERFECT example of what an IPA should taste like. PhillyBeer2112 (2089), Orange Park, Florida, USA

True hophead delight in this glass. Citric hop nose and flavor whammo. Enough malt to keep it balanced. Nice bronze color. Unique69crazy (119), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

Sadly, this is short-lived, however the taste does stick to you while you consume this delightful beverage. I found this to be a excellent choice, rather cheap to get and it nice to grab after a hard day’s work. BUrunner (92), Indiana, USA

Smooth, hoppy, and oh so good. A really good beer that I look forward to having again. Darkover (1316), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Aroma of mild floral hops and malt. Flavor of malt, a little spice and floral hops. Finish is pretty hoppy and bitter. A pretty good and unique IPA. argo0 (6994), Washington DC, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 23, 2005 Clear amber body, off-white head, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some caramel, floral, light orange. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/floral/orange, some chocolate. Creamy medium body. Not an overly bitter IPA, just a well-balanced beer. Of course, when so many people expect a strong bitterness in their IPA, it really is no surprise the range of ratings for this one. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 21, 2008 Light copper to amber body with some floaters. The head is dense and a light yellowish tan. The aroma is up front grapefruit with some nice alomonds behind it. There is also some toast. The taste is bitter bread crust and grapefruit. The finish is fairly strong fresh bread dough and a little bit spicy. The mouthfeel is full and a little sticky. Nice, for people like me that like a mild and well balanced IPA.
