Doughy orange malt aroma, nice and fresh. A great balance of medium toasted malts, and a subdued spicy noble hops. Some orange cream in the finish. Quite clean and sessionable with the low ABV, but still loaded with enjoyable flavor. A pretty good Oktoberfest. kuphish (161), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2009 Draught at Upland. White, foamy head with a clear, copper-orange body. Good lacing. Aroma is of grainy, toasted malt and some caramel malt. Big malt flavor with more toast and crystal. Also some spicy pastry dough. Medium body, somewhat sticky. Mild carbonation with a lingering, malty finish. Pretty good overall, but not my favorite Oktoberfest. danielcurtis81 (906), San Diego, California, USA

12 oz bottle at Shallos in Indy. Appearance is a deep gold with almost no head. Flavors and nose follow a decent light caramel malt base with some light spice accents. Mouth is a bit flat. This beer is an average Oktoberfest beer in my opinion.

Pours hazy reddish brown. Nose is smooth malts and slight hop. Taste is pretty sweet, malty, small hop flavor, some caramel and pretty bitter. Not a huge fan of this one, though I’ve yet to find an Oktoberfest I was really crazy about. beezz86 (68), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear, orange color with a small white head and little lacing. The aroma was slightly malty and slighty hoppy. The beer has a light body, thin texture, lively carbonation, and a slight hoppy finish. The beer has a light bitterness. Overall, I was a fan of this Oktoberfest and I have not liked the few that I have tried previously. I like the slight hoppiness that comes out in the aroma and flavor. It is very subtle, but a nice blend. Rynoplasty (538), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
