Big, toasty malt with moderately full body. Slightly sweet, lingering malt was anything but thin. Solid German style with sweet residuals, low hop aroma and bitterness perfectly to style. I'll have another, please! nuplastikk (1191), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 20, 2009 12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan color, minimal head, but lots of CO2 bubbles. Doughy orange malt aroma, nice and fresh. A great balance of medium toasted malts, and a subdued spicy noble hops. Some orange cream in the finish. Quite clean and sessionable with the low ABV, but still loaded with enjoyable flavor. A pretty good Oktoberfest. TearsforBeers (173), Ohio, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 3, 2008 Aroma - nice malty, sweet, grainy smell
Appearance - pumpkin/brown - just right for and Oktoberfest
Flavor - not overwhelming, but very present malt, caramel, slightly citrus hops
Palate - smooth, with a nice twinge of creaminess
Overall - my favorite Oktoberfest thus far! yjb (110), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 8, 2008 Why all the low ratings big guy? Nice and malty, with mild bitterness had you standing up to some real winners at oktoberfest night. This brew is terribly underappreciated, as the style is underscored and it was somehow placed in the middle of the pack. You’re really very Great. Rynoplasty (513), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

The smell is full of malts. The taste is pleasant. Nice blend of malts and caramel, and it is a nice representation for an American version of an Oktoberfest.
