Commercial Description:
Our American pale ale is a crisp, hoppy beer filled with fruity overtones and dash of sweet malt flavor. American hops lend this beer a citrus-like taste that is very refreshing.

I’m going against the grain with this one. A little much carbonation but otherwise hitting on all cylinders. Sharp malty taste. Hops are citrus in nature. Some pine notes as well.

Bottle. A bit overcarbonated, it pours out a hazy golden orange with a 2 inch head that grows quickly. Actually has a decent farmhouse scent to it, no doubt unintended, but it truly does smell like a biere de garde, with a mildly funky, estery wheat, mold and fruit smell, along with the requisite c-note citrus hops. Unintended infection, I imagine, but not a disaster. Flavor is more of the same, a bit of pine and citrus hops, some very mild cheese and wheat yeast flavors, a light, airy, dusty and dry texture, and a light sweetness in the finish.

this is a very nice pale. nothig fancy or overly innovative, just a nice, straight ahead pale ale.

Amber pour with an initially enormous head that recedes to a more expected level. Flowery hops with some underlying malt in the aroma. High carbonation. Citrus hop taste. Pretty sour finish. Bitter, sour finish. It’s OK.

bottle - Pours orange with a moderate head and a mild citrus hops aroma. The flavor is moderately hoppy with some caramel malts. It’s at most medium bodied and tending toward the thin side. Crisp, smooth, and easy to drink, it’s alright, but there are far more flavorful and overall better pale ales out there.

12oz - bottled on 07/06 - Aroma is mostly malt with a touch of hop spice and hay. Pours transparent gold with a huge fluffy head and great lacing. Flavor is an exact match to aroma. Palate is creamy and smooth. Easy drinking session brew.
