Commercial Description:
Our American pale ale is a crisp, hoppy beer filled with fruity overtones and dash of sweet malt flavor. American hops lend this beer a citrus-like taste that is very refreshing.

Pours a lightly hazy copper with a big puffy white head. Light tangerine fruity and hoppy aroma has some soapy notes to it. Body is overcarbonated and has some off-flavors. From a pineapple fruitiness to a dry bitterness, this beer just seems confused and far from style. Some acetone chemical flavor is noticeable as well. I suppose it's possible that I got a bad bottle.

Pours copper with a nice white head. Smells of oranges, roses, tea, toffee, flowers. Tastes of caramel, sweet grass, tea, some nice fresh meadows. Mouthfeel is sweet with a tea like finish.

Bottle. A bit overcarbonated, it pours out a hazy golden orange with a 2 inch head that grows quickly. Actually has a decent farmhouse scent to it, no doubt unintended, but it truly does smell like a biere de garde, with a mildly funky, estery wheat, mold and fruit smell, along with the requisite c-note citrus hops. Unintended infection, I imagine, but not a disaster. Flavor is more of the same, a bit of pine and citrus hops, some very mild cheese and wheat yeast flavors, a light, airy, dusty and dry texture, and a light sweetness in the finish.

Hazy dark golden liquid with a taller fairly lasting ivory colored head. Scents of pale malt, touch of spice and I detect a hint of sourness and earthiness. LIght sweet start with a quick about face with some citric bitterness. Only a hint of the sourness I detected in the nose. Quite dry with a grapefruit and orange rind characteristic. The deeper I get into this one the more citric it get. If you like bitter citric brews this one is for you.

Bottle. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Moderate hoppy complex citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium balanced citrus bitter flavor with a smooth bitter finish of average duration. Solid refreshing brew.

Dark gold to light copper body with an off white head. The aroma was decent grapefruit with some almonds and hints of caramel. The taste was grapefruit and bread crust with some bell peppers in the finish. Lots of carbonation and lacing. Ok, just boring.

Nice color and head, thin-bodied. Citrus notes whith some underlying malt sweetness. Good balance on the palate, this beer is more aggressive than the IPA. Finishes with a lingering tartness. Middle-of-the-road ale.
