Huge thanks to him for getting all the Uplands for everyone to try. Milky orange color with no head. Aroma of peaches and peach rind. Much the same in the flavor. A very little sourness. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 22, 2009 First pour is crystal clear light amber with no head. Nice aroma is cheesy barnyard with wood and light peach. Medium body with little carbonation. Mildly tart and buttery flavors of light peach, tart wheat and wet wood. Nicely dry finish. This one probably needs more aging. Skyview (4087), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 20, 2009 Sampled during Skyview Sourfest II in St Paul, MN. From 750 ml bottle pours a hazy golden orange brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of peach skin and yeast with some barnyard funk and wheat malt. Taste is tart, some carbonation with flavors of dried peach, yeast, some mild cheese and wet horse blanket. Finish is semi-sweet with a light peach aftertaste. Could use some more funk and tartness but still an okay lambic. BDR (2168), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

Peach and funky, barnyard aromatics with a side note of old, salted, vintage cheese. Medium-bodied and watery with soft carbonation. The flavor is subdued, but tangy and peachy. Fruity, lightly sweet, moderately tangy finish.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2009 Bottle, thanks RadioMGB. Lighty orange body, no head. Nose is peach, a little lemon pit acidity, hay-like malt. Really great infusion of peach in to the aroma. Flavor is somewhat lifeless - a bit of acidic peach, some wheaty malts. Fresh peach comes forward again in the finish. OK, but nowhere near as good as the first year of Upland Lambics. pantanap (1369), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 19, 2009 Bottle. Some peach, some barnyard, some raspberry, some toasted coconut... Nothing about this one jumped out at me, sort of had the minimum of each component of a fruit lambic. Not at all unpleasant certainly, but just ok for the style.
