Thanks to Bobby91w & tjtheresh for sharing multiple bottles at the sexual chocolate party! WOW! This is my favorite in the lambic series from Upland. Pale gold pour, slight haze and fizzy white head. Aroma of a mid summer fresh ripe peach. Peachy, sour, and dry!!! I need more jsquire (2107), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 6, 2009 First off, I don’t like lambics. This had a hazy gold color with almost no head. This was almost flat. Odd moldy hay nose with notes of old peaches. I’m getting better at smelling lambics, but it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I was expecting a brighter peach flavor, but what I got was stale Jolly Rancher candy. Not as intense as many lambics, which raises the score from me, but still not very good. bdigital (586), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA

Guess what, this is no different. Pour was a pale gold...the nose on this was very pleasant, notes of peach, hay, grass and some lactic sourness. Flavor pretty much follows along the same path and is decent but not mindblowing. patrick767 (2033), fort wayne, Indiana, USA

It has a gentle aroma of peaches and some mild brett. The flavor is sweet and peachy with the wild yeast characteristics on the light side. Surprisingly it’s kind of watery and bland and it’s definitely under-carbonated. It’s okay, but I expected much more. kramer (2465), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 3, 2009 25 oz bottle, shared by somebody at my house, Miver maybe? Poured a slightly hazy peach yellow body with no head at all. There’s a nice fruity peach nose with just a little bit of cellar funkiness. Pretty nice nose for a fruit beer, but not so amazing for a Lambic. The flavor is decently funky though, over-ripe peaches, very pitty with a very pulpy character to it. A good bit of yeastiness muddles things a bit though. The mouthfeel was a little lacking due to the undercarbonation, but I don’t think that it takes away that much. Needs a good bit more acidity to really envoke a Lambic feel. Overall, I thought that this was a pretty enjoyable fruit beer, but as far as a Lambic goes it falls quite short at this time. Fresh peach, apricot and a bit of soft pineappley character. Flavour is more straightforward, peach and a light hint of funkiness. A bit lactic and tart. It’s still pretty simple in the flavour, but I think it shows a lot of potential. Fin (3421), Merton, Oxfordshire, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 26, 2008 Bottle that was kindly passed on in a trade by the marvellous Miketd when we met in NYC in Nov 08, cheers me old mucker. Peach skins and yeast leap forth from the nose of this beer but there is a definate sour light acidic note as well. The beer poured a muddy orange colour there was no head and it lacked much in carbonation. Taste was just a little disappointing, I really expected something more zappy and sour than it was, as it was it came across as perfectly pleasant but seemed to strike me as the smoothie of the fruit lambic world and just a little too safe. There is plenty of peachy flavours, too much sweetness remains, a likeable beer but one that just needs to be more in your face to be taken really seriously. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 25, 2008 Bottle, corked 750, this years Christmas slime. Nose is wild yeast, very lambic, with light orange and peach and much stronger indeterminate tang. Carrot-orange pour with no head. Taste is bland, little peach if any, though a smidgen of tangerine, traditional lambic mushiness, but on the whole, immediately disappointing. Alcohol masterfully hidden, not terribly sour (actually rather smooth), also very flat - this is an unfinished beer.
