BBB63 (3810), La Porte, Indiana, USA Oct 4, 2008 I went ahead and dug up my brief notes from GTMW to get this beer to 10 ratings: Bready and herbal with a a slight DMS note. Smooth and easy to drink but not as refreshing as I hoped it would be. A very average pils IMO. tjthresh (1317), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Oct 3, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Pours bright golden yellow with a pure white head. Some lace left behind. Clean malt nose. Lightly hoppy with some herbs. I managed to find out that they used Sterling hops. Very hoppy and bitter with a sturdy malt backbone. Really easy to drink and easily kept my interest to the bottom of the glass. Medium body with a fairly high amount of carbonation. Dry malty finish. Really nice beer and I hope to find it in my local store some day soon. StFun (338), Indiana, USA Oct 2, 2008 Just not for me. Pours a golden yellow with a frothy head. Flavor is nice, crisp and clean. Nice balance. Just didn’t jump out at me. patrick767 (1449), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 28, 2008 tap at Mad Anthony Oktoberfest - Pours clear light yellow with a thin white head. It has a very mild pale malt aroma. The bready malt led flavor is lightly fruity and has mild hops in the flavor increasing to a moderately bitter finish. vyvvy (1722), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Aug 23, 2008 GTMW 08 - Pours clear yellow with a white soapy head. The aroma has some skunky grass and pale malt. Medium body with frothy carbonation. The flavor still has the skunky grass, but it is grassier and less skunk - way cleaner than the aroma. An okay pils.
