Flavor is very, very complex and has a really succulent and delicious raspberry character. Other notes of leather, funk. Very nicely balanced beer. Mostly impressed with the quality of the fruit. inkubus27 (250), Highland, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 8, 2008 Bottle at the brewpub. Had no head, just some flat bubbles from the pour. Aroma is definitely funky with those typical off aromas of a lambic. Very small hints of raspberry in the nose. Taste was, to me, dissapointing. Somewhat sour, a very small hint of raspberry, and finishes with a decent tartness. But to me, I’m just not a fan.
Fun note about the 2008 bottles of Raspberry. On the label it says aged with strawberries instead of raspberries. radiomgb (1977), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Bright murky red in colour with a very small white coloured head that left a surprising amount of lacing. The aroma is of raspberries, very fruity, lots of jam, juicy, woody. The flavour is of incredable tart raspberry jam, some blackberries, lots of fresh raspberries, lightly acidic and sour. Tart and dry mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes with lots of raspberries, tart and lingering.
This is an excellent American lambic, very nice raspberry flavour. Great balance between sweet and sour.
750ml bottle obtained in a trade with sprinkle, thanks Mike.

Aroma of brett, raspberries, leather, wood, and vanilla. Taste of sweeter raspberries, vanilla, some acidity, wild yeasts, some toffee, and a sour finish.
