Jun 5, 2009 Bottle at PPRBSG09 thanks to notalush. Pours a cloudy light orange. Aroma of sweet raspberry, funk, and yeast. Very delicious aroma! Flavor is tart initially with sweet raspberries and yogurt, with a sour, acidic finish. Very nice.

Jun 5, 2009 Bottled. An unclear golden beer with the meat of lemons and oranges floating around and with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of citrusy fruits. The flavor has notes of lemons, sweet malt, and other fruits. Raspberries?

Jun 4, 2009 Bottle: Murky golden pour. Has a nice lactic aroma with apparent raspberry but it isn’t sweet- it’s presence it very natural. There’s also some perfumy barnyard funk. Crisp and tart body. Nice wild flavor- raspberry tartness, barnyard, and lots of lactic tartness. Quite nice indeed.

Depending on the lucky glass, it goes from hazy orange to disgusting muddy with clots; very unprofessional. There is light fruity aroma, raspberries, and some yeast too. The flavor is a bit better, clearly sour, harsh, lemony, with light raspberries, no sweetness, quite refreshing.

Jun 2, 2009 Thanks to Puddintane for this - shared at Peter’s NY gathering - very cloudy peach colored beer - aroma of tart fruit skins, earthy basement notes, barnyard funk - the fruit character in the flavor reminds me more of whole cranberries than raspberries, and thus, this reminds me quite a bit of Cantillon Spuyten Duyvil - nice balance of acidity, fruit flavor, and well-developed leathery funk - just the slightest acetic kick on the tail end - nice.

Bottle. [Papso Shady blind Tasting 2009] Small fizzy white head that was mostly gone. Spare to no lacework. From almost clear to heavy muddy amber color with large particles in flow that might have been fruit meat. (Unlucky for Ungstrup and Alex). Sour apple, vinegar, barnyard, fruit, citrus. Over the palate came sweet perfume, orange, peach, yeast. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet and acidic flavor. Lingering light sour fruity finish. 7 / 3 / 7 / 3 / 15 = 3.5
