Commercial Description:
In the spring of 2006, I brewed 300 gallons of top-fermented beer using wild yeast to create a Belgian-style Lambic. We conditioned the beer in oak casks and then initiated a secondary fermentation in the casks using whole fruit from Huber's Orchard in Starlight, Indiana. You should experience a tart, almost sour taste balanced by the aromatic and richly flavorful addition of whole strawberries - perfect to share with friends, and a platter of good cheese and fresh fruit. - Caleb Staton, Head Brewer

Light orange color. I taste and smell fruit but I can’t identify it as strawberry. Sour flavor anyway, and some oak. I would like just a little more fruit flavor.

murky pink, like pureed grapefruit. incredible aroma of tart cherry, baby powder and lemon oil. more mild than I expected, very gentle and approachable, almost like the character is cut in half but its not diluted. very good but i’m still a bit torn maybe its from reading about it for so long.

murky murky murky orange pour with a little bit of head. Strawberry and musty in the aroma. flavor is funk, butter, more musty basement, oak, and of course the strawberry. Not very sour in the finish, loads of fruit though.

Bottle in trade from bobby91w, pnista, xmarxnolanx. Thanks! Pours mostly beige to light amber with little head. Smell is funky, and fruity, but not particularly of strawberries. Taste is tart and lemony with oaky fruitiness but not overtly strawberry. Medium body with slightly soft carbonation. Enjoyable and very easy drinking but not bursting with strawberry flavor by any means.

Bottle courtesy of Radiomg: Poured a cloudy dirty beige color beer with a small bubbly head with almost no retention and no lacing. Aroma of light strawberries with some oak and some funky barnyard notes – this is quite close to the real thing. Taste is also a quite complex mix between some tart notes with oak and some sour strawberries with some funky barnyard notes with a lactic acid finish. Full body with very limited filtration and minimal carbonation. A bit acidic for my taste but very well done nonetheless.

Bottle pours out a cloudy straw topped with a sand head. Aroma was nice, plenty of the tart and a very light fruit. A touch of wood on the nose aswell. The tast was of the lambic with a nice little strawberry at the end. A nice fruit lambic not over the top with fruit just a nice fruit end. Thanks Toby
