Oct 20, 2002 Somewhat watery but it had a very good taste to it. i ahd the Maple Brown Ale and i hated it. maybe because i had it here in the states. i tried all of my otehr upper canada beers in toronto. they have no preservitives and taste that much better. truthfully. This is a good brew i would try again....north of here

Sep 15, 2002 Dark ruby red colour, malty, slight coffee flavour, fairly smooth, slight bitter finish. Just a little bit watery though.

Aug 6, 2002 Hmmm comparable to the Sleeman cream ale i think. I didn’t enjoy it much. Bitter aftertaste. I expected much more. Was strong in flavour just not pleasent. Brute flavour, no high end very low.
