Bottle. Malt heavy aroma. Reddish brown with some carbonation visible. Not much head or lace. Good, malty beer. Some English character. Very malty; good though. Solid beer.

Bottle. Healthy chestnut brown with red infusion. Slight nuances of maple and burnt wood layered over a typical dark/chocolate malt body. Low-key chocolate flavour first and foremost, and mild bitter coffee finish. A soft-spoken-yet-pleasant dark.

Well it wasn’t bad, but I’m convinced it’s not as good as it used to be. It used to be richer and maltier. Like I said, I still enjoyed it but it was less hearty, more watered down, likely for mass appeal, and with almost no aftertaste. Still poured a dark brown color with ample white head. Aroma was next to nothing and the taste was pretty standard and unoffensive. What happened here?

bottle - Pours dark amber with a one finger head and a light malt aroma. The flavor is sweet and malty with some very light fruit and nut notes. It’s really easy to drink, but could use a little more body. Not bad.

copper hue with off white head, the aroma and flavor may rival with those in big cities.

(draft @ The Old Towne Restaurant - Niagara on the Lake, ON) Chestnut brown color with a puffy tan head. Sweet and nutty aroma with a good amount of malt. Flavor is very sweet with lots of caramel, nuts, and sweet malts. Finishes a little watery.
