Draught at Ultimate Café. Pours a clear dark amber with a small diminishing off-white head. Mild aroma and flavour of caramel malt, nuts and faint hops. Flavour’s very watery and somewhat metallic. Light bodied. This is a very boring Brown Ale -- I really wanted another beer after this but I couldn’t stomach a second one of these, and unfortunately, everything else they had on tap was worse.

330 ml bottle, at a restaurant in Toronto. Pours dark brown, clear with some reddish tinges and a moderate off-white head. Mild aroma with hints of roastiness, caramel and dried figs. Sweetish flavor, some dark fruit and floral notes, nothing outstanding, but not bad. Medium body and pleasant carbonation.

Refreshing and a little nondescript, for a brown ale it has some unstylistic acrid bitterness. I want more fruity depth and less lagerish hardness!

Brown to copper color with a big bubbled fluffy head. Nuts, pulp and mild nougat aromas. Thin and somewhat watery feel. Mild caramel mixed with cheap cocoa flavors. Ever had a second tier candy bar. It has all the same ingredients, and it tasted something like its should, but the feel and depth, the richness and the smoothness are not there...I think you get the point.

Un goût assé riche de noisette et caramel, un arome légé de fruit de vergé, une belle couleur terra cotta avec belle mousse beige.

Pretty average beer. I had it in bottle with wings. Copper colour. Medium body beer.

Bottle. Nice copper/brown body with ruby glints, average carbonation and good off-white bubbly/frothy head. Its malty/hoppy aroma lacks strenght and complexity. Taste is rather thin and carries some light roasty notes. It ends with a short bittersweet finish. Boring.
