Best dark beer I’ve had yet. There’s a reason when you type ’dark ale’ into Google, this is what comes up first.

From a bottle in a six-taster-pack. It poured a mouth-watering reddish-brown, leaving a sandy head, which sadly dissipated quickly. Lovely maltiness and balanced bitterness, slightly sweet and very filling. A wonderful ale! This is a good sipping beer for me until I get the gumption to pick up an Imperial Stout.

Somewhat watery but it had a very good taste to it. i ahd the Maple Brown Ale and i hated it. maybe because i had it here in the states. i tried all of my otehr upper canada beers in toronto. they have no preservitives and taste that much better. truthfully. This is a good brew i would try again....north of here

A superb ale! Nice colour to it, complex flavours(but highly enjoyable). First taste has a bite to it, but the second taste is heaven. Wonderful finish. Toffeeish and burnt tasting. Sweet, but not too sweet. Perfect! Also, the label and the bottle is top notch for viewing. A lot of grade A craftsmanship was put into this beer. Iron Duke Strong Ale by Wellington County still takes the golden prize, though.

Very nice dark ale. Enjoyed it down to the last drop, great on tap. This beer did things to me that most girls couldn’t and much more. Put together nicely.

Wondeful dark ale. Made with wheat if I remember properfly. Not syrupy like Rickard's Dark.

This is a very good beer. I had it at a keg party (I know not typical of keggers) and it was fantastic. Decided to buy a bottle of it later and it proved well again. Nice malty taste, very creamy!
