Another day, another lager. I couldn't taste the 'tight hop edge' but it's drinkable I suppose.

Looks like Labbatt. Smells like Labbatt. The taste however is the only thing that is different. Tastes a little bitter but not much. Better than Labbatt.

Went down fairly easy. Smelled somewhat skunky, was probably the best lager I've had from UCBC.

Shit is aiight ... some sweetness and a decent hoppy finish. Works well with food.

This was one of the first "good beers" that I had. Had a bunch of pints with a visiting rubgy team. I was quite pleased with it at the time but have lost my taste for it since.

Had a 12 pack of this in bottles. I was impressed. For a regular lager, this was decent stuff. Had an apparent malt sweetness to the body that was pronounced due to some alcohol flavors. There were some stale hops flavors throughout that detracted from the flavor and the finish was a bit dry and stale. Overall not as watery as many standard lagers, has some spice and an interesting medium dry, medium acidic fruit taste at the beginning. Wasnt terribly carbonated either in the bottle

Fun stuff. A very different, more piquant lager than most Canadians are used to. Upper Canada has a diverse lineup, despite being a microbrewer. Nowhere near as good as UC Dark.

Malty aroma, smooth but with a very slight richness in the flavor. Pours a pale golden. As far as Canadian lagers availabe in MI, it's a better staple than Labatt's but lacks the richness of Molson Canadian.
