Jul 9, 2004 My dislike for beers brewed by sleeman aside i rather liked this beer. A slight sweetness followed by a standard macro lager taste with a crisp dry finish which i rather enjoyed

Jul 8, 2004 Doughy, lightly sweet. Hops aren’t apparent till lthe very end. A bit of a fruity finish. Sturdy body. Fair enough label and cap. Very clear gold.

Jul 8, 2004 Pale light golden color, light white head. Typical lager aroma - however, alcohol is most prominent. Slightly sweet flavor, with some trailing hop bitterness. Finishes a bit metallic. Overall. a tad better than the American macros.

May 29, 2004 Decent lager, malt and bit of yeast taste. Malty sweet. Yellow straw color, lots of head initially that look like soapsuds and then dissapear. A toast crisp dry aftertaste.

May 7, 2004 While I enjoy some of the other Upper Canada products, I never cared for the lager. Obviously a step above Canadian and Blue, which I can only attribute to the clean, balanced taste, but still not a great beer. I’ll take the Wheat over this when I am looking for something refreshing in the summer.

Apr 29, 2004 It was a variety pack from Luc! Ok beer. Clear yellow. Malty aroma. No hops. Clean and well made.

Apr 29, 2004 Out of a variety 6-pack provided by Lubiere. Thanks Luc! Clear yellow, lasting white head. Clean malty aroma, malty flavor. No hop character. All malt helps a little, and it is clean and well made, just there is nothing there to make you want to drink another.

Apr 22, 2004 Pours a light golden color with a barely-there white head. Sugary aroma. Flavor is very nondescript up front with some nasty metallic flavor in the finish. Feels extremely thin and watery. Why the hell is this rated so high??
