changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 13, 2008 Updated: Jun 13, 2008Not bad for a light beer. Golden colored, but much more head on this than other light beers I’ve had. Nice foamy lacing... ever see that on a Miller Light? A sweet malty flavor with a touch of citrus. Nothing too complex but nothing foul about it either and decent flavor for the style. If you’re into light beers, sub this for some others you might have from time to time and you’ll probably not want to switch back." beanmedic (324), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Apr 9, 2007 aroma of weird smelling bananas??? taste is a little grainy with no hint of alcohol. alright and drinkable, but not impressed. Bland, boring but not unpleasant. And hey... less filling! jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 9, 2005 Golden yellow body, decent sized fluffy white head. Vague grassy arome and some wisps of alcohol. Flavour is grainy and cereal like, barest touch of bitterness. Watery palate, pretty boring but not the worst light beer I have ever had. pintbypint (1002), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Feb 28, 2005 341ml brown bottle. Pale yellow with a well formed white head that left good lacing. Dryish, dusty hop aroma. Some malt, dryish, light and grainy Thin, easy to drink. For a "light" styled beer, I’d say this is pretty good. MrManning (1634), London, Ontario, Canada Feb 14, 2005 Suprisingly, not too bad.
Pours a sparkling gold body, but again the head is thin and short lived. Looks like a glass of apple juice now. Aroma is hoppy, and actually decent. Grainy as well. Taste is hops bitterness, some grassy, or grain notes, and a tad sweet. Decent bite to it, crisp finish. Not bad for a light. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 23, 2004 bottle. light malt and somewhat grassy aroma. pours a light golden colour with a small bread-like head. flavour is watery and bland, though I can definitely taste a little bit of hops on the finish. not great, but not all that bad either. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA Aug 9, 2004 Nice light golden color, small white head that had a decent hangtime then faded to leave little behind. The aroma was malty sweet with a light cereal like quality and a faint hint of hops. The taste was nothing special but decent enough to make it a good lawnmower beer.Malty sweet with a hint of hops maybe a slight fruit presence but very faint at best.Over all a nice light brew that is easy to drink, hence the lawnmower idea.
