robinvboyer (980), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada May 24, 2008 bottle at the inlaws, they pick this up for me cause they know i dont like bud light. A nice thought on their part, but meh, this is pretty boring, VERY slight hops in the nose, typical grainy macro aroma. Some light malt in the flavour, quite bland, meh, run of the mill canadian macro pale ale, pretty mediocre really. tomthompson89 (1101), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 21, 2008 fruity nose kinda malty uhhm.... redish amber color not much head, little bit of hops but more malt then hops not great JohnBarleycorn (372), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 28, 2007 Bottle. Typical yellow/mid-gold is disappointing for a pale ale. Mild aromas of caramel malt and grass. Malt-forward flavour is complemented with below-standard hopping and an unusual lettuce leaf/herbal edge. Bitter finish has a synthetic, plastic underlining. A poor pale ale. BytownJon (19), Ontario, Canada Jul 18, 2007 Updated: Jul 31, 2007Medium yellow colour, not pale at all. Average head for the brand, no lacing. Decent "full" flavour for a commercial product but nothing to write home about. A slight bitterness bite that passes quickly. Clean aftertaste. GregClow (2318), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 17, 2006 Draught at The Academy of Spherical Arts. Light, bright golden with a small white head. Fairly non-descript but not upleasant aroma of sweet malt and mild hops. Similar flavour - malt, hops, clean and boring. I had no problem drinking a pint of it, but by the time I got home (10 minute walk), I’d forgotten pretty much everything about it.
