And that’s the best part about it. Aroma is actually sort of unpleasant with a hint of malt to it. Tastes like the malt extract from a homebrew diluted many times. Long lingereing aftertaste pollutes your mouth for a while. Palate is very light. I have had it now, now I can never have it again. Radek Kliber (3945), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Aug 25, 2004 This beer was sampled at Cest What (bottle). Aroma of wet wheat, old moldy malt. Thin body, flavor a la blended processed cardboard, light sweetener added. Leaves bad mouthfeel, which thankfully does not last long. joeycapps (1466), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Aug 25, 2004 Clear pale yellow. Fizzy white head. Grainy festering malt aroma. Sugary feel. Unpleasant diluted malt extract flavour. And I so badly wanted to rate this beer a 0.9. Bryght (17), California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2004 I love Canadian beer and I do miss the taste of Labatt and Molson and Yukon Gold. But, now that I don’t drink...the low-to-nil alcohol is all I can do and I am sooo pleased that Point Nine is around for me to import. I love this stuff! tupalev (2617), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | May 7, 2004 I prefer this to the light lager. Actually a little more flavour in this and maybe even a hint of a malty taste. Still not something I’d reach for, but when compared against others in its style, it fares pretty well. But 0.9%, so why, really? Sammy (4003), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 3, 2004 A small buzz from the alcohol still possible without food. Better in a meal. Best feature: More of a beer than a malt beverage. Some malt sweetness, but more hop bitterness. Pronounced carbonation. fine red colour. Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Feb 7, 2004 This is probably the worst beer I have ever tasted. It looks half decent. Gold, big head. Not bad for an almost non-alc-low-cal. Then taste it. Overwhelming corn syrup. Add sugar when alcohol is lacking. I don't think so. Holy Hell that was not good at all. Must have been amazing before Sleeman took over. Somebody must have had a gun to the brewmaster's head.
