Good lager, almost tastes like an amber---sweet malt flavor balanced well with alittle hop-bite. Nice.

A solid strong lager with a rather harsh bitterness to it, but definitely enjoyable. Goes well with Christmas Pudding!

The look of the bottle and the aroma were not promising anything good. But man o man taste would surprise even the most demanding dude.... Rich but soft, complex but balanced. What else do you want?

Hoppy, floral scent. Amber, big creamy head. Strong hops taste, good bitterness, nice malts too. As it warms the hops grow stronger. A pleasant surprise from these guys!

The Canadians have never rebelled against anyone in their entire history, as far as I know, so this must be a rebellion against boring American Standard lagers! I’ll drink to that! Pale, smells and tastes a smidge like a good Scottish malty ale (odd for a lager), a very nice and flavorful taste, quite good, lots of character(and did I mention the malt?)
