I was expecting more in the taste, expecting it to be a little stronger. It didn't live up to it's name.

Golden colured. Sweet, mild & soft. A well balanced strong lager.

But what are they rebelling against? Sleeman’s has made a lot of decent beers in their day, but this one is great. A bit heavy in the taste department, but it can kick the lager you’re drinking now’s ass! Wish I could get if for less that $14.00 a 12 here in the states. In case you’re wondering why the hell this guy from Ohio writes so much about Canadian beer, I’ll tell you.... I used to go to Windsor twice a month several years ago, as I managed a rather crappy band that was tossed out of Ohio bar scene. Since all I had to dowas make sure they got paid, most of my evenings were spent drinking beer, and chatting with the locals. So I’ve had a ton of canadian beer, some good, and a great deal bad.

Very smooth taste for a slightly stronger beer. Has a little bite, but it is not too intrusive. Tastes pretty good.

I got six different Upper Canada beers in a Sampler pack. Except the Wheat, they mine as well have just been all the same damn thing.

I was not very impressed with this. Way too bitter, way too carbonated and very strong on the palate. Bad aftertaste as well. Maybe I had a bad bottle, but this was a grotesque experience.

An improvement on the regular U.C. lager. Too much carbo. Not bad really.
