Golden colured. Sweet, mild & soft. A well balanced strong lager.

I think this is an underrated beer. In the style of a European strong lager, it is similar to some of the Polish examples, save for the Lublin hops of course.

some sweet malt in a crisp refreshing initial swallow.. That’s it. Sour Bad breath aftertaste. Hint of some apple and spice. Little hops of course.

The look of the bottle and the aroma were not promising anything good. But man o man taste would surprise even the most demanding dude.... Rich but soft, complex but balanced. What else do you want?

Bottle. March 2005. Golden yellow body with a small white head. Muted grassy hop aroma, grains. Decent amount of unrefined hop bitterness but only a fraction of the hoppiness I’d expect from the bitterness. Not to my tastes but a pretty solid lager. Hides the 6% abv well. Average palate.

A solid strong lager with a rather harsh bitterness to it, but definitely enjoyable. Goes well with Christmas Pudding!

Has a pickley, pond-water like aroma, with some heavy alcohol accents. Dark golden appearance with a thick soapy white head. Has a slight biscuity taste to it with some underlying caramel sweetness to it. Has bit of a tangy mouthfeel to it. Not altogether bad. Alcohol makes itself a little too evident considering it is only 6%.

Large starting head is quickly gone. Dark gold, crisp and clear. More alcohol than hops in the aroma. Warm alcohol and hop flavour with a nice malty body. Alcohol and mild bitterness in the finish. Alcohol is noticeable without being overblown. Malt and hops let you know you have a beer at hand. Thanks to Tupalev.
