Draught. Poured brown with a light brown head and was highly carbonated. Aroma was sweet belgian yeast and slightly sour. The flavor had a sweet pear taste with some sour notes. The body was thin/medium.

I’ll guess this is what I had today since I don’t see anything else on the list. A brown Belgian ale with lots of cherry and lambic quality. With time, the sour might be more pronounced, but for now it is a poor man’s Supplication. And to find that quality sour in Nebraska is a good thing.

(750ml, bottle #95 of 274, 2004 vintage) Pours a cloudy maize body with a small white head. Aroma is dominated by oak with hints of citrus and possible bourbon. Flavor is also dominated by oak with honey, citrus, and spicy yeast.
