Brian Hoesing, a homebrewer from Lincoln, NE, was the winner of Upstream’s second homebrew competition with his Rye IPA. As a reward to both him and our guests Brian joined the Upstream brew crew for a day to brew his winning recipe on our 15 barrel system. This delicious beer has a wonderful balance of malt and hops that will leave you wanting more. A rich, malty body balances nicely with the complex hop flavors and aroma making this beer worthy of a first prize. Congratulations Brian.
