I liked this beer! it didn’t last long on tap, but was tasty while it was there. The oatmeal cookie theme played out in the flavor, color, and aroma. Palate was a little thinner than I thought it would be, but still appropriate. I especially appreciated the blend of spices, which were balanced well with the malt.

Orange amber with a thin head. Aroma of cinnamon molasses and vanilla. Solid flavor, better than I expected. Good after dinner beer.

Nothing what I expected. Poured an amber hue with minimal head. Basically zero aroma, if anything there were some malt notes but I couldn’t tell. Flavor was pretty good... had notes of caramel, molasses, vanilla, and brown sugar... zero bitterness. Nice full mouthfeel. Not bad

On tap at the 2009 Crescent Moon Extreme Beerfest. I guess that I just didn’t understand this one. Pours orange with a medium off-white head. Has a mild bread dough aroma. The flavor is a bit sweet but mostly a mild vienna-like beer. Boring and a waste of time. The alcohol is 7.5% ABV.

Hard to classify the style on this one. The body was hazy light amber and orange with a white head on top. The aroma was strong with the oatmeal cookies and molasses. The description said the beer was inspired by oatmeal cookies, and they nailed it. The taste was strong with vanilla at first, then you got the oatmeal and molasses from brown sugar. This was excellent and had a light body for being such a complex brew. The cookie taste was not cloying as I would have expected. Awesome and very original.
