Dec 18, 2007 Dark brownish red color with no head. Minimal aroma-some malts and chocolate. Dry finish with roast malts and chocolate making up the taste.

Dec 18, 2007 Growler shared at Madness w/ the Moose. Pours a deep dark red that is almost black with a small of white head. Boozey aroma with some malty notes of chocolate. Very thin bodied that needs to beefed up. Flavor of light roastiness and chocolate malt. If this wants to be a scotch ale it needs to beef up just like the cattle out in Omaha.

Dec 16, 2007 Growler acquired in trade with valpoaj (thanks!). Poured a medium brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of earth, caramel, and smoke. Tastes of earth, roast, and caramel.

Oct 10, 2007 Tap @ brewpub: Brown color - too dark to see through with a small white ring head. The taste is wat too sweet. For a second I thought I was drinking warm Coke. The feel is smooth, but overall -- way too sweet.

Apr 7, 2007 On tap @ the Old Market brewery. Hazy brown with no head due to the fact it was poured to the rim--had my friend drink some so I could rouse a few bubbles of beige head. Aroma of chocolate, toffee, a little grain, and some light smoky peated malt. Flavor was some caramel, grain, toffee, very light peated malt, and a biscuity finish. Light prickly carbonation with a medium body. Not terribly, but not that great.

Mar 17, 2007 On tap at Old Market location. Not bad if you just want a mildly malty ale, but this puppy is no true scotch ale. It’s aroma is mildly malty, it’s flavor is mildly malty, (notice a pattern?) appearance is a nice red, comes with a small head that disappears quickly. It’s a decent brew, but there’s no way it’s what they say it is.

May 13, 2006 Draft Legacy location. Brown...not much head. Aroma??? Trying to find it...carmel maybe...did I smell something? not sure Woa...taste is twangy right off the bat. Sweet & sour beer. unexpected and not working...I try to think that the twang is just some sort of malt yeast combo, but it seems more distracting than that...lactic?? This seems like something that shouldn’t be served as is...not horrible, but noticeably gone off.

Nov 22, 2005 I have been through Omaha twice, and each time I make it a point to stop and purcahse a pint of the Dundee Scotch. It is a excellent beer with a full body and a smooth flavor. Highly Recomended!
