The body was dark copper with a khaki colored head. The aroma was caramel with some peat and smoke. The taste was sweet peaches along with bread crust. Aroma hints of smoky malts, wood, light spices, ripe fruit, vanilla, and earthy yeast esters. Malty sweet taste followed by a spicy kick and dusty background.
