Dundee Scotch Ale has a smooth, malty flavor that is balanced with a slightly higher alcohol content. It is fermented at a lower temperature than our other beers, resulting in a smooth, clean and rich beer.

Draft sample at Upstream Old Market. Poured hazy copper color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium body. Medium toasted balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

usually, I am not a fan of this style, but enjoyed this version. The body was dark copper with a khaki colored head. The aroma was caramel with some peat and smoke. The taste was sweet peaches along with bread crust. There was also a little bit of earth in the finish.

Murky reddish brown hue with a small head and litlle lace. Aroma hints of smoky malts, wood, light spices, ripe fruit, vanilla, and earthy yeast esters. Malty sweet taste followed by a spicy kick and dusty background. Medium-bodied with soft and slightly warming mouthfeel. Good brew, worthy of a second chance. One of their better beers.

Growler @ Madness. Poured a hazy orange copper color with an off-white head. Mild peaty and smoky aroma with a light but sweet malt base. The flavor was peaty and mildly phenolic. Light bodied.

Light brown, only a little light gets through. Very suburban ... only the vagues of nutty tones, overall sweet and caramelly. Totally misnamed ... more like an English style Amber.
