heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Oct 7, 2008 Tap at the brewpub. The body was dark gold with a white head. The aroma was malty with a bit of bread. The taste was slightly bitter bread crust. There was also some potato skins. i actually thought that this was refreshing. Tmoney99 (4660), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Sep 17, 2008 Draft sample at Upstream Old Market. Poured clear golden color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body and soft carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Another average beer. Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Jun 6, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. The nose is sweet and corny; it smells like some residual sugars are hanging around. Light-bodied and thin with a flat mouthfeel and a mildly sour finish; odd. Sweet and grainy up-front it transitions to an "off", sour finish. Meh. This one is NOT good. pinkzambia (986), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 10, 2007 Tap @ brewpub: Clear gold color with not much head. Corny aroma along witgh a corn/soap flavor. Yuck. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 10/02/1996

KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Oct 23, 2005 GABF 05. Listed as O! Gold at the festival. Pours yellow with a strange bubblegum and banana aroma. Flavor is flat hops, and the watery palate doesn’t do anything to help. jefcon (997), Arlington, Virginia, USA Dec 29, 2004 Light and golden as a blonde should be, not quite enough in the head department. In every other respect, however, nothing from nothing is nothing, and this brew is extremely light on aroma, flavor, body, and finish. Depending on who you are, I suppose this could be good or bad. To me, the watery nature of the beer washes out the oats, hops and sharp smoky aromas and flavors that could have made this blonde really unique and dare I say, bold. Keep trying, brewmaster, but take note of the good beginning here. I’d drink it again just to see. eboats (887), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Jul 15, 2004 Light golden color with no smell, flavor or hops. Very smooth like water. Not a good beer.
