750 ml corked and caged bottle #839 of 1126 poured a hazy orange amber with a lingering ring of ivory foam. Aromas of apple, carmel, spice, horseblanket, pear, light oak and a hint of tangerine. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of sour apple, leather, oak, horseblanket and light spice with a crisp dry lingering tart funky finish.

( 750ml bottle) Pours a hazy amber-orange body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of white grapes, citrus, apple, horseblanket, and some wood. Flavor of citrus, white grape, funky, wet leather, cherries, caramel, and light herbs with a oak finish.

Sample at Noogfest High 5 thanks to heemer77. Bottle 978 of 1126 (bottled Aug 08, brewed Jul 07). Poured amber with a thin white head. Tart citrus aroma. The flavor found more tart citrus, with a backing of light malts and earthiness. Medium body and tart throughout.

Slighty hazed god with a light head and lace. Very sour yeasty aroma. Very hard sour flavor. A bit thin and watery as well.

Sampled at Noog 5. Bottle 978/1126. Lightly hazy orange pour that was quenching in appearance with no head. Floral, fruity aroma that is very obviously going to give up the sour. Tart fruit flavor that manages to hang on to the floral side of things. A bit earthy but the prior flavors dominate. A very light sweetness that is on the “wild” side of things. A bit vinuous as well. Wet mouth feel with a crisp finish. One of the surprises of the evening for me. Very enjoyable.

Bottle shared at NOOGFEST09. Poured yellow orange color with a moderate frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus and fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy complex sweet & sour flavor with a medium citrus sour & sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met.
